The boys have painted with gumballs, crafted gumballs, sorted gumballs, colored gumballs, and of course ate gumballs.:)
I found some really cute game ideas online that we played. One being pay the gumball machine and pick a color gumball to shoot out. We played on our slide and shot the gumballs down like a machine would.
We also completed our giraffe alphabet animal for our book. It turned out so cute.
Some other fun things we did were:
studied our giraffe puzzle(we got from a busy bag swap)
played stop and GO
had a gumball hunt outdoors(aka our large ball pit balls)
played candyland...ok no it doesnt start with G but it went with our "candy" theme
ate frozen grapes
made our own mini Golf course
we made a gumball craft with pom poms as our gumballs
read Goodnight Moon (ALOT)
made GAK
Isaiah did the color by number and Isaac colored the gumballs any colors he wanted!
Just look at that beautiful coloring.:)
We got out our gumball machine and practiced putting pennies in for marbles/"gumballs".;) Great fine motor skills for Isaac!
Our gumball craft supplies. Thank you mommylessons101 for the great idea!
Isaiah size sequencing. I asked him a lot of questions of more or less, bigger than, smallest, biggest, etc. We got these cute gumball machine printouts from confessionsofahomeschooler!!
Dot painting the letter G.
Gumball color sorting.
This activity Isaiah had to practice alot of self control. lol...he really wanted to eat them all!
Gumball painting!
It turned out pretty good but it works much better with marbles. The gumballs were much too light to move smoothly through the paint!
GAK- gooey slimy yucky, a boys best friend! I will post on how we made ours very soon my friend, very soon!!
Our cute little mini golf set...there are two more holes but the dog kept knocking them over before I could snap a picture so I gave up..lol.
We also did our serving others project this week by giving a gift to our little friend Gabby!:) She is precious!!! We gave her a small baby bracelet. It was so tiny and sweet just like her! She's going to wear it at her christening. The boys were so excited to give it to her!
What a sweet little baby hand!
