Day # 14: Deliver goods to the Hope Center. Hope Center is a place that helps people with food and meals in their time of need. We donated canned goods and breakfast items to help serve others who need it! When the boys get older we plan on volunteering and serving there as a family often. It was very cold and rainy this day so we snapped a quick picture before we took our bags in.
Day #15: Watch the movie Elf and enjoy Christmas hot cocoa. :)

Christmas hot cocoa...cocoa, lots of whipped cream, christmas sprinkles, and a candy cane stirrer.:)
Day # 16: Make fingerprint ornaments for our tree. These turned out pretty cute. I got the inspiration from pinterest. Love that site!
Day # 17: Drive around town to look at lights and sing carols! What great family memories I hope our boys will pass on to their family one day.
Day # 18: Make special "cards" for Jesus' birthday. Again...thank you pinterest for this idea. The stars in the middle of these read......" I used my hand to make a manger, a place for Jesus to lay. I'll use my heart so full of love, as a place for Jesus to stay." We hung these on their bedroom doors to remember the true meaning of our special holiday! Day # 19: Play Christmas games on the computer. Isaiah was thrilled to read this advent. He loves playing games on the computer but hardly ever gets to. This made his day.
Day # 20: Make reindeer food to sprinkle in the yard on Christmas Eve. We didn't have all of our normal ingredients but we improvised and it came out perfect according to Isaiah. The reindeer loved the food by the way.;) |
