Advent Day # 11

Tonight we made our first homemade manger scene. What a perfect activity to do while talking about the birth of Jesus. The boys listened well and Isaiah asked lots of great questions. And it was a great lesson in patience for MOMMY. lol. Mary and Joseph did not want to stand up and every time I set the wise man's cane thingy up the boys would knock the tray and we would have to start over. haha. Sometimes these lessons really do end up teaching me many things...tonight's taught me to be patient and to just relax and let the boys have a good time. So one hundred pounds of candy and frosting later....we have our wonderful masterpiece and PRICELESS memories to share.:)



See...told you it was a masterpiece. lol. And who knows..maybe Joseph really was that skinny. :)
