Happy 6th Birthday Isaiah!!!

I cannot believe it but our oldest turns SIX years old today. Wow. This past year has absolutely flown by. I have really been holding on to every last second of our days. It seems like they are gone before I blink.
This birthday I wanted to dedicate this post directly to Isaiah and let him know some of the reasons I LOVE him so much.  He is such an important part of this little family of five and I want him to know some of the serious and silly reasons why:

1) I love your giggle..makes me laugh every time
2) I love how your face lights up when I say I will play with you
3) I love your fohawk...you are the King of spiky hair and have been sporting the spikes since you were one!
4) I love to see you "break dance". You always make up your own moves and they always crack us up.
5) You have the most amazing big eyes and beautiful eyelashes. (I wish daddy would let me put mascara on them just ONCE)lol
6)I truly LOVE your nonstop chatter...when your gone at school I find myself missing it!
7) You are an amazing big brother to two little boys who adore you more than you will ever know!
8) I love your bear hugs and your cute little dimples...ok that's two things but oh well!:)
9) Its so cute how you still think that a seatbelt is called a "be selt"...
10) Its so wonderful to see you reading now. You are always so anxious to learn more and once you get the words down you get so excited. I love to see you learn new things.
11) I love watching you start forming your own opinions and styles.
12) Can't get enough of your knock knock jokes...they are priceless
13) It melts my heart as I see you kiss and hug both of your little brothers. So sweet to see as your mommy!!!
14) I love your LEGO creations. Usually you build a boat that is functional for both land and water and it ALWAYS has a secret weapon somewhere on it.
15) I love when you ask if we can throw you a fake birthday...lol..the magic of your birthday is still so important to you!
16) You are a perfect gift from God that I have been thanking him for 2,190 days now(plus the entire time I was pregnant with you!)
17) I love when you come home from school and the first thing you ask for is a snack and you say please mommy..you are the best at making snacks! I love being the "best" at things for you!
18) I love seeing you making and playing with new friends.
19) I miss your sweet little chubby hands that I used to hold but I do LOVE to see how you are starting to look like a big boy now!
20) I love singing our song (Lolly Dolly) every single night to you! I will sing it anytime you want!

Happy Birthday sweet boy! There is SO MUCH to love about you! This list doesn't put a dent into the forever list you hold in my heart! Thank you for being such a blessing! My heart never knew I could love anything until six years ago when you were born! I am one lucky mommy!!!

Meet Skully!

Skully the Skeleton recently stopped by to visit and to help bring in some Halloween fun.
We plan on having him stop by around Halloween every year to help us think of some fun ideas to do together.
He sits on our end table in the living room right by the lamp(we call it his thinking chair). When Isaiah comes home from school Skully usually has a fun activity thought of for us to do!

Here's some of his fun he has thought up over the past couple of weeks....

Decorating Halloween cookies:

Halloween hot cocoa and books:

Make door hangers for our rooms:

Make apple pies:

Go on a Fall Scavenger hunt:(this was so much fun)

And decorate pumpkins with foam stickers:(plus a little snack)

Skully has so many more activities planned for us...stay tuned for more!!:)

TOTSCHOOL- Letter K

Letter K was squeezed right in between all of our summer fun list activities.
I don't have as many pictures of all our fun we had as I'd like but here are a few I did manage to get.

The boys made a chocolate KISS craft.

I love the sideways smiles and misplaced eyes. These are priceless!

Isaac was so proud of his art.

Isaiah working on his Knight's shield colors book.

Finding the Knight that is different in each row.

Our Moncure books. Letter K!

My oldest Knight in shining armor!

My younger Knight in shining armor!

Making Knight shields. Both of the boys picked their color of shield and decorated them with stickers and drawings.

The boys made cookies for one another and practiced ways to be kind by giving to others.

Isaiah's Lunchbox~ Day 30, 31 & 32

Well in case you all were wondering....I did not dissapear!;) I actually decided that posting Isaiah's lunches only once a week would probably work out much better for me. We have been SO busy this weekend with Isaiah's 6th birthday party, sports, and oh so much more.
I am going to try and start posting all of Isaiah's lunches from the week on Fridays.
This week there were only three lunches because Monday they were out of school and Friday Isaiah begged us to let him purchase a school lunch.:) He thought it would be really cool to be able to purchase a lunch. So I finally caved and let him. Turns out, he loved it and wants to buy it again soon.

So on Tuesday- Day 30
Mummy pizzas, salad with carrots and pumpkin shaped cucumbers, and an oreo cakester rolled in fall sprinkles.

Wednesday- Day 31

Frankie sandwich(with fruit leather hair/ scars and marshmellow bolts/ eyes), pringles, halloween gummies, and witch finger rice krispies. To make the fingers I just cut a rice krispy length wise, added green frosting for the details, and almond slivers as the nails.

Thursday- Day 32
Jack-o-lantern turkey sandwich, cheese stick with bat ring, halloween pretzels, and a monster cookie. My son informed me that these were pickle cookies not monsters. lol. To make the "monster" cookies I just dipped nutter butters into green candy melts and added a smile and a big eye.:) And Sunny D to drink!

And of course on Friday- Day 33- Isaiah had cafeteria lunch. I believe it was cheese pizza!;)
